How has our market been holding up in the age of the coronavirus?
So far, Iowa has reopened 77 of the 99 counties in the state; we’re calling this a partial reopen because certain businesses like restaurants are allowed to operate, but only at 50% capacity in the effort to maintain social distancing measures. In the real estate market, though, it dropped down over the last month to six weeks, showing activity has gotten back up to 2019 levels. Even though the market has taken hits in certain ways, we’ve still been listing and showing houses, albeit with masks and gloves on. To learn more about our market, watch this short video.
