Answering the Most Common Mortgage Lender Questions

Lenders like Jean Diaz hear a lot of the same questions. Here are the answers to two of the most common.

I’m excited to be joined by Jean Diaz of Movement Mortgage to answer a couple of the most common lender questions from homebuyers:

What do I need to get pre-approved? You’ll need documents such as your paystubs, bank statements, W-2s, and tax returns. The lender will then collect the information and submit it to the underwriter, who ultimately gives the OK. All of this is done before a home search even begins.

What does a pre-approval do for a buyer? It allows you to gauge your purchasing power, and it allows you to show a home seller that you’re serious about buying.

If you have any other mortgage-related questions for Jean, go ahead and give him a call at (515) 451-0736.

If you have any real estate questions for me, feel free to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Bob Darr helped my wife and myself at a time I was having health problems, he kept us informed about our best possibilities, and worked at finding the best deal for both parties involved. He also went out of his way to make it easier on me to get things signed. I would not hesitate to contact Bob again.
