Lenders like Jean Diaz hear a lot of the same questions. Here are the answers to two of the most common.
I’m excited to be joined by Jean Diaz of Movement Mortgage to answer a couple of the most common lender questions from homebuyers:
What do I need to get pre-approved? You’ll need documents such as your paystubs, bank statements, W-2s, and tax returns. The lender will then collect the information and submit it to the underwriter, who ultimately gives the OK. All of this is done before a home search even begins.
What does a pre-approval do for a buyer? It allows you to gauge your purchasing power, and it allows you to show a home seller that you’re serious about buying.
