Answering the Most Common Mortgage Lender Questions

Lenders like Jean Diaz hear a lot of the same questions. Here are the answers to two of the most common.

I’m excited to be joined by Jean Diaz of Movement Mortgage to answer a couple of the most common lender questions from homebuyers:

What do I need to get pre-approved? You’ll need documents such as your paystubs, bank statements, W-2s, and tax returns. The lender will then collect the information and submit it to the underwriter, who ultimately gives the OK. All of this is done before a home search even begins.

What does a pre-approval do for a buyer? It allows you to gauge your purchasing power, and it allows you to show a home seller that you’re serious about buying.

A pre-approval allows you to gauge your purchasing power.

If you have any other mortgage-related questions for Jean, go ahead and give him a call at (515) 451-0736.

If you have any real estate questions for me, feel free to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Testimonials

I had the pleasure of working with Timothy and his staff during the late summer and fall looking for a new home. I found Timothy to be a refreshing change from the other realtors I’d worked with in the past. He was particularly attentive to my needs, as opposed to trying to sell me his listings. At every possible turn he went out of his way to make sure I was in a good place at that particular…

Kind regards, KurtLess
